18 months ago, Design Shop Interiors launched our first brick & mortar storefront – The Shop by Design Shop. The Shop features a curated selection of custom upholstery, home furnishings, lighting, textiles, home accessories and more…..we are all things home. We’re looking to add a new Rock Star to The Shop Team to assist in its day-to-day sales and operations.
About This Job:
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm
- Location: Folsom, CA
- Time Frame: Fast! We are looking to hire as soon as possible!
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have an understanding of the DSI brand, look & aesthetic
- Possess a deep love for all things home & design (borderline obsession is helpful)
- Killer taste & style, one that is consistent with the DSI brand
- Must be a team player at DSI we check egos at the door and we all work together
- Be highly motivated & a self-starter
- A sense of humor, a killer work ethic and a can-do attitude, we believe there is no “I” in team
- Previous experience in home furnishings / retail sales
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cultivate a warm, inviting environment and customer experience
- Assist management with daily operations of The Shop
- Deep rich knowledge of our product catalog is a must, there’s a lot to know & learn!
- Work hand-in-hand with customers on product selection and customization resulting in the highest level of client satisfaction and sales
- Assist with inventory management
Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent communication, customer service and people skills
- Previous retail sales experience
- Precision oriented attention to detail and exemplary organizational skills
- Software requirements: Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
- Bonus points for those who know Shopify
