Reveal: Traditional Master & Teenage Boy Rooms!

Meet Our Client

Our client is a mother of two boys and wanted to redo both her master  bedroom and her kid’s rooms. She wanted something zen like for herself and something her boys could grow into that didn’t feel juvenile.

The Design Process

Lead Designer: :Whitney

When we had her initial consultation she let us know we would be working with her existing bed frame and some of her bedding so we found some nightstands that coordinated and that was our jumping off point!

We reoriented the furniture in her room to make it more functional, bringing in soft blues and rattan elements helping to create that zen-like feel she wanted.

Her boy’s rooms were small so we used twin beds, brought in a desk and shelves for storage and had all of the rooms repainted.

Whitney’s favorite element: All of the rattan that we added into the master bedroom, I also loved the mirrors above her nightstands. And I just loved the overall feel of the room.
