It’s time for another High-Low! Lead designer, Ashlee took the lead on this one and we are loving the cool, California dining room vibe she designed.

She went for a California, modern dining room with simple and clean lines, mixed with contrasting wood tones. See how to recreate this look on both a high-end budget and low-end budget, below!

Art $450 | Credenza $4500 | Chairs $1350 ea | Rug $4390| Table $950 | Chandelier $4050

In this high version, Ash used some of our favorite designer brands to bring in that mixed wood tone look and layered it with a vintage rug. We are always fans of bringing in greenery to a space and a great way to do so is a large scale tree like a fiddle leaf fig from Green Acres.

Art $250 | Credenza $460 | Chairs $380 ea | Rug $500 | Table $189 | Chandelier $238

In this low version, Ash sourced from stores like Ikea, Wayfair and West Elm to bring in a similar look, just priced much lower! She kept with mixing wood tones, bringing in a vintage rug and kept that leather element in the chairs. Though we are always fans of real life plants, if you love the look of greenery but aren’t sure you can keep a big tree alive, a cheaper alternative is a fake tree from somewhere like World Market or Pottery Barn!
